Bronwen Weber’s stellar career in decorating arts began at the age of fourteen when she accepted her first job in a small bakery in Acton, Ontario. Bronwen moved to Texas and started to make a name for herself working in small, notable bakeries around the state. For almost ten years, she worked in Randalls Food Market’s bakeries; moving up from production employee to management, and finally as a trainer for cake decorators and bakery management.
As a past Pastry Chef Instructor at the Texas Culinary Academy, a Le Cordon Bleu school, in Austin, Bronwen taught cake decorating, chocolate work, candy arts and sugar to the schools’ students in the Patisserie and Baking program. She continues to teach nationally and internationally several times a year. Bronwen has competed in 16 Food Network Challenges, more than any other chef in the show’s history. Her work has earned her numerous awards, including Best of Divisions and Best of Shows in national competitions, and she took home the Grand Prize at the 2005 Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show, the most prestigious wedding cake competition in America.
As the Executive Chef of Frosted Art Bakery & Studio in Dallas, Mrs. Weber is busy with her new lines of wedding and specialty cakes. Her couture cakes continue to keep her culinary creations at the forefront of style.
